1. Do Madlock Farms products have the same psychoactive effects of THC?
Most people associate the feeling of “high” with the effects they feel from taking THC. None of our products contain any form of THC. So the effects that you would associate with that, you are not going to have when taking our products.
Depending on the product you’re taking, you may feel more relaxed. You may feel less discomfort. You might feel more ready to sleep at night. However, you will not have the effects commonly associated with THC that are described as the feeling of “getting high”.
2. Is CBD legal in my state?
At the federal level, hemp-derived CBD products that contain less than 0.3% THC are legal according to the Farm Bill of 2018. With 0.00% THC, all of our Madlock Farms products certainly fall under this umbrella. However, many states (and even some local jurisdictions) have created their own laws relating to hemp-derived products. Please be sure to check with your state and local jurisdiction when purchasing these products.
3. Can I fail a drug test from taking CBD products?
As long as ours are the only CBD products you’re taking you shouldn’t have any problem passing a drug test. Federal testing guidelines require companies to test for the presence of THC to one-tenth (0.0%) of one percent. (1 decimal place) That’s just not good enough for us. Instead, we went all the way to one-one hundredth (0.00%) of one percent in testing for THC (2 decimal places).
You can see the results for yourself in our Certificates of Analysis (COAs)… still no THC detectable even at this extreme level of testing. Quality and purity is as important to us as it is to you.
If you are subjected to regular drug testing, it is advised that you get written permission from your doctor and/or your human resources department to consume any CBD products and to ease your concerns.
But please keep in mind that most CBD products from other companies do contain detectable amounts of THC! So if this is a concern for you, be sure to use only Madlock Farms THC-Free products.
4. Do you have third party test results for Madlock farms products?
We believe in transparency and quality. Each batch of our CBD products undergoes rigorous third-party testing to disclose all major cannabinoids in our products. See our Certificate of Analysis for each product which shows the level of THC as NON-DETECTABLE (ND). You can confidently consume our products knowing that they have been tested to show no detectable THC all the way to one-one hundredth (0.00%) of one percent.
5. Can I take CBD products with my current medications?
With 0.00% THC, our CBD products are safe and suitable for most everyone, including those with sensitivities to THC or those who simply do not wish to consume it. As safe as CBD may be, we caution everyone to seek the advice of a doctor if you are currently taking any prescribed medications.
